Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing with experienced rangers. Trek through the rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family — the length of the trek depends on the gorillas’ location. Once found, you will spend up to one hour observing and photographing these magnificent primates.

Return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.Accommodation: Same as Day 2
